Stainless Steel Foldable Food Steamer

I've used this a few times now and haven't experienced any of the negative things that other reviewers have pointed out. No rust marks, hasn't fell apart. It is indeed 7 inches across, not 6. It fits in medium size pots, my small pots are very small and the opening wouldn't accomodate a 6inch steamer anyway so the size difference is of no matter to me. If I do happen to have any of those things happen I will update my review but until then this works wonderfully.
I like the way it folds up for steaming and folds down into a platter for serving. It's large enough to hold enough veggies for whole family. I understand people's concern about the plastic handle and would prefer metal but honestly plastic gives off the "fumes" regardless of temperature, plus it's a lot less than what most of our appliances, like microwaves give off, so I'd rather use this than the microwave bags of veggies.
